Feel-good update: Our college tour, a TV ad, & new endorsements (oh my!)
Happy April, from snowy New York! Last week was utter insanity.
Happy April, from snowy New York! Last week was utter insanity.
On Tuesday, we had a great event at University of Central Florida in Orlando — the first stop on a college tour we’re testing out all this spring. 60+ folks came out to join us, NextGen America, and Anna Eskamani (one of our incredible candidates running for FL state house) for a great convo on how students can get involved in local politics. Watch the Facebook live if you’re looking for inspiration.
We released our first TV ad!! Watch it now.
It ran on TV in Florida last week, has racked up more than 50k completely organic views and our paid digital campaign is running all this week. The response we got on social media was overwhelming — check out the Twitter moment compiling all the great feedback.
Then we announced 87 new endorsements.
These people are incredible. Our March class is nearly half women and nearly half people of color — this new class means we’ve now got folks running in 41 states. They’re amazing. We love working with them and we love how excited they are to work with us.
And just as fun: Seeing how excited our volunteers are to work with these candidates. It’s a team effort all around.
Also last week: Political Director Sarah Horvitz joined Congressman Eric Swalwell and our partners, Sister District, Brigade, and Flippable for a fun event in San Francisco. We love getting to do stuff IRL.
Can’t stop won’t stop working as hard as we can. Thanks for making it all possible.
Miss last week’s update? Catch up & catch the good feelings…
